I've had this for a couple1 of weeks now and can honestly say it is the best gaming experience I've ever had! The ultra wide screen is truly immersive and the WQHD plus 100 hz and G sync matched up with my 980ti hybrid are a dream! Its almost like looking through a window. I love it!

For anyone contemplating buying a standard ratio 4k monitor vs a widescreen one for gaming I have both and for what it's worth this is superior. The immersion is great and the UI scales properly, whereas with 4k the UI in both Windows and in games is often poorly scaled at anything below 30" and difficult to read without upscaling it, which brings its own problems. The colour is excellent with deep blacks, as you'd expect from an IPS display and the 100hz refresh overclock works a charm and gives noticeably smoother motion plus G-Sync works well. The only negative is the fiddly OSD controls but once setup there's no need to touch them again.
This monitor is well worth the money spent as it overclocked to 100Hz without any issue and no Dead Pixels or BLB on the screen after 2 weeks of heavy use. Quality control issues seems to have resolved now with newer 2016 models :-)
I can not wait to get it
Gave it a full check at home, BLB not enough to be an issue, (previous screen was an IPS too) no dead pixels seen, and no coil whine – though I have not overclocked the screen above 60Hz yet, as my graphics card wont handle it. Fortunately these monitors come with a 3 year warranty from Acer so I have plenty of time to overclock it! Overall, it is a beautiful monitor, no regrets
I got mine, from mighty ape, via a friend of mine I usually buy my computer parts from. Had it about 13 months, and was faultless in that time. Stunning visuals, clean, sharp image, awesome response times. However, on the weekend, the screen faded to black (worked for about an hour on saturday, then started to fade to black, it was like the something internal just lost power), and now the display port doesnt get a signal, and OCD for buttons doesnt work. As I understand, this is a known issue. Ive tried doing a factory reset by pressing and holding the 1st and 5th buttons, but nothing has changed. All I can say is, thankfully its got a 3 year return to factory warranty.
Pro's: Great monitor. Solid colour range. Sturdy construction.
Con's. For a premium monitor the supplied display port should have had gold contacts. The I/O is clumsy to navigate. When charging a premium that exceeds a lot of Pc's and large screen tv's small details need to show through in every step.
