I would rate higher because Mightyape really did try to resolve this by sending a free replacement but I just can't recommend this product to anyone. If you really need a card reader, spend more money! This is not worth the trouble.

The photo is not of the product you will get. Came in no packaging at all, just wrapped in cardboard and tape. No way to tell its even the brand it claims. I suspect its not. Its all cheap plastic and looks like garbage. Not nice and metal like the photo..... Probably a $3 thing from wish… Ive purcahsed this kind of reader of mighty ape before and it wasnt the same garbage ive recieved this time… Would not recommend anyone buy this.
I'm only giving three stars because Mightyape tried their best to help me by giving me a free replacement. The fact that didn't work really sucks but hey, I can't fault mightyape's service. Invest in a higher quality one I guess.. These ones haven't been worth it in my experience.
