Because the movie is one of the few that was entirely shot on a digital camera, the people who transferred it to blu ray didn't have high quality film to restore a 1080p quality version from. The film is meant to be gritty and this inferior than normal quality almost suits it. It seems to be about DVD quality, but at this price it's about the same price as a DVD so there's no loss there.

28 Days Later is a very realistic zombie film. Set in the post-apocalyptic world where people are transformed into a zombie when in contact with the rage virus. The movie is a must watch, however, it is not as good as its sequel. The most notable of this series is the score by John Murphy. There are several unexpected eerie moments. BluRay is recommended for any TV's above 42 inch.

This movie rocks. The characters all have their own story and grate together in their way. They bond to survive. They fight not only the zombies but other survivors.
