The following are quotes from forums regarding this singstar and it reflects what I thought and felt when I got my copy today and tried it:

I thought it was just me until the wife said it is actually happening. Worse still, I know I sound terrible but I really don't want it confirmed over the speakers!

However, if you are a die-hard fan AND sound really great – then this is a must have.

David – You can adjust your singing volume with the shoulder buttons on the controller.....Did you try reading the manual before you returned it? My Wife has a huge collection of Singstar games, she would love to try this one. Maybe if it goes on special I'll get it for her birthday.

Stop calling David a noob. I'm a seasoned singstarer and I have to say that you can't turn yourself down on this one. Yes, you can turn yourself up and down using your L1 and L2 but it does NOT turn you down very much. So be prepared to belt it out hearing yourself! You have to have practically no shame to play this singstar game…

I gave this four stars because I think that A Kind of Magic should have been on it. And because you can barely turn yourself down.
