24" Samsung Curved 144hz FreeSync Gaming Monitor reviews

I bought this monitor for my first PC build and it is worth it. I was just looking for a 144hz monitor cos I normally play FPS games, but most monitors that have 144hz has a bad picture and color quality, but this monitor is an exception. I can't believe that I bought this at MightyApe at a very good price!!

Try find any other 24" 144Hz 1ms VA panel type monitor, this is amazing. The curve isn't too extreme so you don't really notice (which is good)

Worth every dollar. Only problem is I can’t get the sound to work… But I have speakers for my PC anyway. Frame rate is unreal compared to my older monitor. Recommended!

This monitor is great, the 144hz refresh rate is buttery smooth, my only complaint is the stand, it is BIG taking just over a third of my desk (800mm) make sure you have the space for this monitor or wall mount it.

Probably the best looking 144Hz panel at this price range. It's what to get for when you're on a budget and you want a good looking monitor without the Pink Hue of TN panels.

Very nice to game on and just the right size for desktop.

144hz is extremely smooth although I did have to rearrange my desk cause the base is really big.

This thing is amazing for anyone looking to upgrade to a 144hz monitor that looks amazing, super easy to setup and nice easy menu to use. Curve is not annoying or weird and cant believe I was using a 60hz monitor for so long

Monitor shipped and received quickly – good service on that front. Be aware when purchasing, you may not have the correct slots at the rear of your PC if it's not reasonably new. Size is nice, picture is ok – my system cannot run the 144hz refresh rate yet, so it's ‘ok’, as in, an improvement on my last monitor but not super-dooper at this point. The settings button being at the rear is a pain (had to come back to this site and watch the video), the disc supplied with it does nothing…it is not intuitive and the button/toggle is just annoying,harder to work than it needs to be on a PC. Different settings don't seem to make much difference to the overall picture and I have a fairly new custom built gaming system. It might live up to it's hype if I decide to change the graphics card but I am not doing that for just a monitor at this stage. Overall – ok.

A very good monitor amazing graphics the only problem is the big circle stand!

I have had this for about and year and love it works perfectly. Great menu control, amazing for gaming or watching youtube.

The quality of the screen itself was spectacular, but a section of the frame on top had split apart making the circuitry below visible. Had to return it in the end.

I like almost everything about this monitor – very clean look, extremely adjustable + functional, and the colours are fantastic… However…

Personal Cons: As my main set-up is on a small desk, the arm at the back combined with the big circular base meant my keyboard had to sit on an angle and awkwardly hang off the side. This monitor takes up (roughly) 40cm of width space on the desk if its straight on, so make sure you've got enough space. Also once set up and adjusting the screen settings – it reads that the highest hz is 120. Unsure why that is, and it's not like I can tell the difference, but why advertise it as 144hz-

I use it now as a second monitor for my laptop on a bigger desk space for general media.

This monitor is great—I use it for gaming (Black Ops 4, GTA 5, ARK: Survival Evolved) and it is more than sufficient for the gameplay. I also use this monitor for my PC. This monitor is the right size for gamers, and big enough for using a PC. The 144hz refresh rate is noticeable and great with my PC. The adjustable arm for the monitor is useful for adjusting the positioning. This monitor is also VESA compliant—75×75—which I will use to attach two monitors (this one and another) to a dual-arm mounted to my desk. There is an audio output port on the rear of the monitor which I have used to connect external speakers to. This monitor also comes with one DisplayPort cable and one HDMI cable. I would definitely buy a second! Thanks, MightyApe—this monitor was on sale at the time of purchase, and cheaper than similar monitors on the PB Tech website. I will browse this website again for monitors as MightyApe have good deals on them.
