If you're looking for a budget 1080p gaming monitor with all the features you could want, this has to be on your radar. The amount of high-end features the monitor packs is quite outstanding. It comes with 144hz max refresh rate, freesync, 1ms grey to grey response time and even manages to fit a two port usb hub (one of which has fast charging) into a cheap package.
One of the cons that I can think of is the aesthetics. This is clearly where AOC has cut back on as the monitor is certainly not very thin nor are the bezels thin. The fake brushed metal look on the front panel didn't look as bad as it looked in the pictures to me but it was still not that great (would have rather just normal plastic) and the red accent at the bottom won't please everyone. Another oddity is how bright the monitor comes out of the box. I currently set the monitor to near the lowest setting to avoid blinding myself (I use it in a florescent lit room) so if you need a dimmer monitor for darker environments then this is something to take into consideration. The colours are okay, not suitable to use if you need a monitor for content creation but for purely gaming and other media consumption it should be adequate. The viewing angles are relatively similar to other TN panels out there.
Overall, if you're looking for a 1080p monitor with all the features of more expensive 1080p TN panels then this should certainly be one of your considerations.
