Quiet fan combined with beautifully designed cooler. I installed this on an Asus ITX board with no clearance issues to RAM & PCI slot.
I have owned this for quite some time now and I have it on a I7 7700k a well known CPU that generates a lot of heat more than other CPU's and this does the job very nicely for me as I had limited space. Max temps I have seen my CPU at is around 73 degrees with the fan on 85% spin cycle speed on a game with max settings which was a very high intensity game for graphics and with high room temperatures because of winter and the fire warming up the room quite a fair bit. So for a slim CPU cooler like this on a CPU that gets quite hot I am very impressed. Of course as being a “be quiet” product known for there quiet fans and PC cases the fan noise was super quiet.. Actually ridiculous quiet, even when I did turn the fan speed to max setting (I manually set/adjust my fan speeds). Installation was fairly simple, may be difficult for some as tightening it down on the front side of the motherboard can be tricky but from memory I did it fairly easy with a bit of thinking ahead. All round great CPU cooler for someone that has limited room and wants to save some money instead of spending on a large cooler that will do near the same thing and for its quiet sound and for it's performance even on high end CPU's.
