"Dumbed down, but still worth your time."
3 stars"

This game is a very fun First person slasher with a lot of emphasis on using the environment as a tool to aid you in battle, using a modified version of the source engine from valve, pick things up and throw them at enemies, kick your foes off ledges and into spikes, trigger traps and much more, combined with the fast and tight first person melee-and-magic combat, this makes a great experience worth trying out.

Though Dumbed down from the PC version;(which this game was ported from) You have to pick one of the classes: warrior, mage, assassin or archer. To which you follow a linear exp line and automatically unlock abilities for the class as you go along, rendering any sort of customization of Sareth, that was from the PC version moot. I do recommend getting the PC version if you have a fairly recent computer with dedicated graphics, just because seeing this game, using Source from Half life 2 and CS:S, is very well optimized and would work on anything since 2010.

Still a fun time, and a great game if you just feel like kicking something into a spiked wall.

"Wannabe Oblivion"
2 stars"

For me, right off the bat Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements was trying to be like The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. The graphics are average for the release date and the gameplay isn't that interesting. It has the odd fun element like spartan-kicking an enemy off a ledge but that's about it. It got boring quite fast and I just wanted to get-in-and-out as fast as I could. So overall I give this game 2-Stars out of 5 and recommend it as a rental and ONLY if you're really bored.
