"Stuck again!"
2 stars"

I liked it at the beginning but the more I played the more I came to dislike it. By the end I frankly hated it.

The good: It's survival horror, which is a cool genre. The graphics. The huge Central Park area to wander around and explore. Using items and stuff you find around you to get past obstacles and battle monsters. The pacing. Monsters aren't attacking you constantly thus allowing suspense to build.

The bad: No difficulty settings. One puzzle or obstacle after another after ANOTHER. There always seems to be something you have to figure out how to get past, over, turn off, open or through. It's endless! The annoying way it switches from a third person over the shoulder view, to static camera. The fact that you can't fire your gun from third person and must switch to first person then back again (they should have played Resident Evil 4 and copied that). Annoying and lame car chase sequences. The fact that you can't carry a melee weapon around with you, so when confronted with an enemy you must quickly find something on the ground to fight with. If there doesn't happen to be anything… well then you're stuffed. You can't save/load where you want. When you die or load you're back at the start of the area (and sometimes it's WAY back) where it autosaved. So you end up having to do the same things over and over and over. Practically nonexistent plot.

I just couldn't finish this game. I got close to the end but I ran out of anything to fight with and monsters were just killing me all the time. So I skipped ahead a bit, then realised I just couldn't be bothered. I was so sick of it by then.

This game is so very realistic, you can blink you can open draws you can swing around bodies, light chairs on fire. Basically anything you can think of you can do in this game, that is the sort of style that i really enjoy this game has fantastic graphics and a decent story line definitely a must buy for any real gamers :P

Fire physics are cool, but unless you like “Alan wake-esk” boring as expletive, quick-load button breaking, monotony, don't bother
