The gameplay is simple, fun, and quite easy to learn. The Graphics are absolutely stunning. One of the best features would probably be the two-player mode. At any point in the game, a second player can drop in, and leave, without even having to open the menu. The Dragon-flight levels are just awesome. The only downsides to this game are that the combat system is to simple, and that it is way to short. I clocked it in 3–4 hours, where Prince of Persa took me several days. Its alright, but it could be better.

I felt that the controls were for a game machine and not a PC. There are better games out there.

A failure of an attempt to portray the happenings of the first book of the inheritance cycle. the game play is childish, so maybe for the kids- unfortunately it's very dark though so they mayn't like that. for more excitement, read the books. you can only play as eragon, brom and murtagh, who have few speciality moves. it's about five hours of running around and fighting half-a**ed opponents.
