"So much fun!"
5 stars"

At first I was kinda wary of approaching this, as I found Portal to be such an awesome and original game. However my fears were unfounded; the sequal introduces the heroine Chell once again as well as a new cast of characters and some old faves.

The puzzles were great, though some taxed my brain to steaming point. But hey, I actually felt a real accomplishment when I managed to overcome the difficult puzzles and situations.

Exploring more of Aparture and hearing Cave Johnstone was neat, “Science! It isn't about why, it's about why not-” really loved those parts.

The new characters were a lot of fun and I really like talking to them; well them saying stuff to Chell and her giving them the silent treatment. They had such a great deal of character and personality, despite being all machines. Great work on Valve's part, to give robots such appeal, even in MP mode.

Really loved this game, must have!

"Awesome First Person Shooter Puzzle Game"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

If you're looking a First Person Shooter type with a disguise of casual and puzzle, then I'll recommend Portal 2, because the storyline is humorous with some outstanding very creative puzzle that you wont find on any puzzle game.

If you finish the single player mode, you can always hop in into the co-op mode which is more hilarious, fun, and 2× creative puzzle that doesnt look like it would be even possible to solve, especially if you play with a friend, the fun will be double.

But if you finish all the campaign you can always hop in into those mode again the challenge mode to beat your record or into the developer commentary mode to listen to the Valve on developing the game.

"Wordless!"

This game is worth the awards it won. It's a must buy for anyone with even a tiny bit of interest because you get sucked into the world of portals which online or off ends up being so much fun but frustating. Just don't expect much friends after playing this game because you will have alot of arguments on what way to do the puzzle. Lots of replay value trying to get better times in certain stages. Just all round a really good game worth its price tag. The cake is a lie :)

Description

Portal 2 draws from the award-winning formula of innovative gameplay, story, and music that earned the original Portal over 70 industry accolades and created a cult following.

The single-player portion of Portal 2 introduces a cast of dynamic new characters, a host of fresh puzzle elements, and a much larger set of devious test chambers. Players will explore never-before-seen areas of the Aperture Science Labs and be reunited with GLaDOS, the occasionally murderous computer companion who guided them through the original game.

The game's two-player cooperative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters. This new mode forces players to reconsider everything they thought they knew about portals. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively.

Features:
  • Extensive single player game featuring next generation gameplay and a wildly-engrossing story.
  • Complete two-person co-operative multiplayer game featuring its own dedicated story, characters, and gameplay.
  • Advanced use of physics allow for the creation of a whole new range of interesting challenges, producing a much larger but not harder game.
  • Original music.
  • A massive sequel to the title named 2007's Game of the Year by over 30 publications worldwide.
