I have done these before... And some are pretty hard going (even for a holder of a BMM (Bachelor OF Matauranga Maori) This book looks fun and interesting (to me) and Im sure I'll enjoy it As they say - it'll help "connect the dots"; and clear up some misconceptions that may have risen into my korero (well... This has been a great support for my NCEA Level 1 son in revising for exams.
I struggled to learn Maori online visually and was fortunate to learn Beginners with Kai Tahu Perth for 10 weeks. I found I required written structure hence commencing Study at Home with Scotty Morrison. As I have just started I mark Kete 1 as 5 out of 5. I am on Week 2 and the Knowledge I have gained is Astounding. I look forward to continued Study with the Workbooks and look so forward to speaking my Native Language daily. This workbook (Kete 1) is a great comprehensive resource for anyone starting their journey into learning te reo Maori.
This is a different way of teaching Te reo Maori, one that I find quite simple so far, with online backup as well
