The New Zealand Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand. They were established in 1995 and joined the Australian Rugby League competition, now known as the National Rugby League (NRL), the same year. While the team has never won a premiership, they have produced many notable players such as Simon Mannering, Stacy Jones and Shaun Johnson. The Warriors have made it to the grand final twice, in 2002 and 2011.
