One of the best things about Star Wars X-Wing is that Fantasy Flight Games have developed a fantastic structure for organised play, meaning there are heaps of events which you can attend to hone your skills or try out new squadrons.

Last year we were proud to support the Regional and National Championships, but this year we went one step further and hosted the inaugural Mighty Ape Store Championships on the 28th March!

What is Star Wars X-Wing Organised Play?

Organized Play events are a great way of meeting new players outside of your normal gaming group, playing some awesome games and winning some exclusive loot. There are a number of different style events, including seasonal tournaments and casual leagues and three levels of competitive official tournaments locally.

First up are the Store Championships, which kick off the official tournament season each year. Players battle it out over a number of rounds for bragging rights and awesome prizes including alternate art cards, token sets and of course the Championship Plaque itself.
