We are actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation in New Zealand and will keep you informed here about any changes that may affect our service. Please check back here for our most up-to-date information about our response to COVID-19.

We're now shipping essential goods orders

We are pleased to announce that we have been given the greenlight to ship orders for essential products during the COVID-19 Alert Level 4 lockdown.

You can now order a range of essential products that include items from the following categories: food & drink, personal care, pet care, working-from-home supplies, home & living essentials, and more. These products all fall within MBIE’s guidelines on essential products and may be adjusted from time to time.

We believe Mighty Ape could play an important part in improving the lives of all New Zealanders currently in home isolation, and we can do it safely. We have implemented stringent policies to ensure the health & safety of all our distribution staff while delivering your orders quickly, safely, and with no contact. Please be aware that we are operating with a reduced team in order to work safely so there may be some delays in orders being dispatched.

You can still browse our full range of products and add non-essential items to your Wish Lists but we’re not accepting orders for these items at this time.

What is happening with pre-orders?

We understand that many customers who purchase games and movies are concerned about their pre-orders. Courier services in New Zealand are restricted to Essential Products only during Level 4, which means stock for these products will not be delivered to retailers including Mighty Ape, and the release of these products will be delayed. Due to similar shutdowns across the world, we anticipate worldwide delays for these titles as a possibility.
