The 2017 Emmy Awards were held on Sunday 17th September in Los Angeles, California. The show was hosted by Stephen Colbert.

Noticeably missing from this years nominations were Game of Thrones, much to the relief of the rest of the nominees. The awards were largely dominated by popular shows, The Handmaid's Tale and Big Little Lies alongside Veep again taking out Best Comedy.
