30 years ago Back To the Future was released in the US (yep, I feel old) and this year on the 21st October 2015 is the exact date Marty and Doc travelled to in the future in Back to the Future Part II.

So you can relive all the adventures of Marty and Doc, we've got Back to the Future Trilogy Sets as well as an awesome Back to the Future Blu-ray Box Set with a Flux Capacitor all releasing on, of course, the 21st October.

Also, to celebrate Back to the Future day, we've teamed up with the awesome people at Hero Car Hire to bring you the opportunity to win the chance to experience a “meet and greet” with their replica DeLorean time machine car!

There are two prizes available as follows:

1st Prize: DeLorean Hero Experience (Total Value of $1,000)

• 4-hour experience where you get to ride in the DeLorean time machine and photos taken at various locations in Auckland˟.
• A range of Back to the Future movie props are available to use for your photos
• Includes a Time Travel certificate photo folder to print out your favourite photo of the day and display

2nd Prize: Auckland Hero Experience (Total Value of $250)

• 1-hour Hero Experience where you get to ride in the DeLorean time machine and have photos at up to 3 locations.
• A range of Back to the Future movie props are available to use for your photos.
• Includes a Time Travel certificate photo folder to print out your favourite photo of the day and display

For each prize, you will be able to look over all the details of the DeLorean and ask questions about the car. The DeLorean comes with a working time/date screen where you can punch in any date you choose into the time circuits keypad and mock time travel complete with movie sound effects!

Second prize is available to Auckland residents only. Winner of second prize will need to be able to find their own transport to meet Hero Car Hire at Howick Beach in Auckland.
