The zombie apocalypse just got a little more bloody as you are pitted against your opponents to reach the helipad before you become a human kebab.
The key strategy to winning this game is more about skillful betrayal than skillful dice throws as a labyrinth of streets and businesses teeming with the undead grows with every move. There are objects and weapons that will help make the most of a bad situation by increasing your killing (or fleeing) ability but watch out as those hellish creatures (i.e. The other players) block your progress through event cards or by putting more zombies on your lawn.
You can win by being the first to kill 25 zombies but with only three lives and three bullets to start with, that is easier said than done.
I found that game play with four people ( between 3–4 being newbies) tends to take about 45 to 75 minutes. Depending on how well everyone does at killing/staying alive, the number of zombie figurines can be lacking but luckily enough there are expansion packs for all aspects of the game.
On the difficulty scale, this game is easy to intermediate: Easy when it comes to scoring and a bit more difficult to understanding the mechanics of when you can play and discard your object/event cards.
