"Average game, made cool by dinosaurs."
Pretty good game, but it was the dinos, oh and giant bugs, that made it for me. They're really well done. You'll be moving along with your buddies and suddenly a pack of raptors will rush in and all hell breaks loose. The action of brutal and visceral. The human enemies however are a total yawn.

It's unnecessarily frustrating in parts with the one or two fairly protracted battles with few save points and enemies that keep respawning. You don't know if they're going to stop eventually and you should just keep fighting, or if they're going to do it indefinitely until you do something or other. Also some of the saves are preceded by a little cutscene that replays each time and you can't skip through it. That got old.

Other than that though I found it to be a fun shooter, and I'm not a huge shooter fan.

As a plus it has Ron Pearlman voicing one of the main characters. And he's awesome.
