Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction looks so amazing! At first it looked like a failure but after the E3 video, from XBL it will be epic!!!
I advise people to play Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent in order to understand this master piece.
With regards to the multiplayer part, it looks like it's going to be complete chaos!!! walking around trying to find the enemy with members of the public in the same game to hide within!
I cannot wait for this game to be released! I want this year to hurry up!
Sorry Splinter Cell fans, looks like you're gonna have to hold out EVEN LONGER before you get your stealthy little fingers on the next installment of the franchise. Ubisoft today issued an update on its third fiscal quarter performance and annual targets and let's just say things aren't as peachy as they once were. The reports got a bunch of bullet points, data, positive spin on poor sales, etc., but here's the tidbit that's really important to Splinter Cell fans (and those of you looking forward to R.U.S.E.):
The postponed release dates for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction and R.U.S.E, which were previously scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2009–10, and will now be released in 2010–11. Splinter Cell Conviction is now expected to hit the stores in April 2010.
"Expected”. Damn, we just can't get a solid release date on that game. Of course, we'll keep you posted as more details emerge. For now, you can continue sneaking around the house in anticipation of Conviction's eventual release…possibly in April.
This Splinter Cell game is by far the best from the series, with a very enjoyable and addicting campaign that has multiple locations and encounters. The core stealth gameplay is still there but it feels alot more refined from the previous titles. The other great things about the game is the highly re-playable, Deniable-Ops missions which are a set of missions that are designed to test you with more strategic options. The weapon and multiplayer customisation is great and not too overbearing. Finally the Co-op campaign is great as it is a prequel to the main campaign and provides excellent backing story.
Overall i give this game a 4 out of 5
This game looks AMAZING! Ive played the demo and was amazed at how fun it was. It is way more fast paced and alot more action! I bought this game as soon as the demo was released. Mighty Ape has has done a great deal for the limited ediion for only $130!!! Good job MA
Okay, Splinter Cell Conviction has been delayed yet again. But who cares? At least Ubisoft are taking their time to create an amazing game for Xbox 360 and PC. Why risk having a great story line ruined by bad game play?
I've been waiting for this since I finished Double Agent and that's a long time.
This game will be worth it, so pre-order now and be blown away in 2010 :)
Like the guy above me said the 1st look of this game I didnt think much of it the only reson I was still looking at this game is becouse I have the rest of them but this one takes a interesting turn you dont have have to worry about the bodys any more no more hiding them in shadows and same how sam can move alot fast and do more athletic stuff witch is random cos he is older but wantever it just a game thats might to be fun cant wait till next year.
