2 stars "Missed a chance here."

TNA Impact feels rushed and unfinished. The list of moves is tiny and there's little in the way of choices when it comes to matches.
The characters look amazing and their finishers are well captured. Counters are well executed and the animations flow well. However the game suffers from the same dodgy collision detection that seems to plague every wrestling game.
It's just a pity they didn't spend more time on the rest of the game. The lack of variety pretty much kills this game. The basis of a good game is under there somewhere.

3 stars "mediocre"

Honestly even though this is the debut wrestling game from TNA is mediocre from the struggling Midway games. It could've been better if they put a bit more time and effort to the game otherwise this title would've kicked some serious butt and challenged WWE's Iron fist on the video game market when it comes to wrestling.

2 stars "good graphics"

This game could have been better if they copied all of the basic ideas in the WWE THQ games. This game does not let you choose who you want in storey mode it gives you a new wrestler instead. The create player mode isn't good again should have copied WWE game caw mode. Game has hardly any moves, it has good collision, good graphics but is almost impossible to win a match even on easy mode. The ps2 version doesnt even have create a wrestler mode at all even though it says it does when it was advertised. Big let down hardly any match types Midway needs a good kick in the butt, TNA should hire THQ for the next one, because they make better wrestling games…
