"Beat 'em up perfection"
I played Street Fighter IV extensively while I was in Japan recently, and it is an absolute blast. The game ‘feels’ like a classic Street Fighter game from the very beginning, and delivers on every promise. The home versions are going to have heaps of extras included, with extra playable characters and the like to fill out the whole experience.
SFIV has ditched some of the more ‘hardcore’ elements of Street Fighter III, and I feel the game comes off better for it. Some may argue that this has ‘dumbed down’ the game for a more casual audience, but this is far from the truth. SFIV is the boiled down essence of what makes the series so good.
I have been playing street fighter for the past 20 years (yes, I am that old!) and I can honestly state that this version feels the most refined, accessible and challenging iteration yet. If you are a fan of classic arcade games or a fighting game fanatic, you owe it to yourself to pick this game up the moment it comes out.

Has all the original characters and their original moves plaus extras. With stunning grapics and awesome gameplay staying true to the original this is a must have for all street fighter fans. 10/10
"Brilliant"
It's been 10 years since the ever shameful Street Fighter III was released, and worth the wait for IV. In the decade between III & IV is a huge difference in technology and gameplay visuals. Quite a bold move Capcom tried to make and try to keep the old school Street Fighter fans happy and try to get a new generation of Street Fighter gamers with the 2.5D move.
Without the DLC content and the online functionality, it would have been an overpriced beat 'em up. Lets see if Tekken 6 can step up to the mark.
