"An interesting development to the series"
After finishing Resident Evil 5, I admit this was not how I expected the series would continue. Though I am still satisfied with the majority of it. The return of Leon S Kennedy and the highly graphic combat system would probably be my highlights. The three story lines revolving around Jake, Chris and Leon are also an interesting layout to the game, despite making it feel slightly segmented. Overall, well worth it. A must have for RE fans in general.

There are a lot of mixed reviews about this game, so it really comes down to
your preferences when it comes to purchasing this game.
I got this title because I'm a RE fan: not a hardcore one, but enough to
pre-order the game without a second thought. Let's look at the controls: Shinji
Mikami really changed the feel of Resident Evil by borrowing elements from his
“Vanquish” title and it actually was not bad: I thought the cover system
was a great idea, and the ability to melee is another feature I enjoy.
Mercenaries mode is as fun as ever, and I've only played through Leon's story
and so far so good. The only concern I have with this game is that they
completely took away the ‘horror’ factor: which is what they wanted in the
first place anyway.
It's honestly a fun game, and if you liked Resident Evil 4 and 5…this is
worth the buy.
Oh btw…
don't worry, I reckon the game is a bajillion times better than the RE: Damnation and RE:Afterlife films -_-"

If you do this is the game for you! Looks and sounds great but swiftly deteriorates into one QTE after another linked together with cut-scene after cut-scene. My advice is play RE4 instead because that's where the franchise peaked and its all downhill from there

Was playing it and it was very slow game play they over push the plots and they try and immurse you into it. When every time you try to relate to a character it will go into some sort of help mode or every time you try to practice something it will then bring out things at full force it's a bad game

Description
Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of 2012. Resident Evil favorites Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield are joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a bioterrorist threat on a global scale, as the narrative moves between North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang.
Resident Evil 6 features three distinct, yet interwoven story threads, each with their own pair of protagonists for either solo or co-op play, both offline and online. Leon S. Kennedy is paired with US government agent Helena Harper, while Chris Redfield teams up with fellow BSAA member Piers Nivans. Finally, gun for hire and son of the infamous Albert Wesker, Jake Muller, is joined by Sherry Birkin, the daughter of former key Umbrella scientists, William and Annette. - Redesigned control system – Resident Evil 6 features an evolved control system allowing players to shoot while moving; slide; roll in any direction and to take cover, along with the addition of an enhanced melee attack
- Localized voice over – Resident Evil 6 will include fully localized voice over in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian as well as subtitles in Japanese, Russian, Polish, Brazilian and Portuguese

I know its not even close to being out yet but DAMN!!! Resident Evil 6 looks Amazingly Epic!!!! Words can't even describe how hyped I am for this game to release! ive been a big fan of the series since the 1st res evil on ps1 and man this one looks every bit as good as any other one thats been released.. And in my personal opinion looks to be the ultimate Resident Evil yet!! The main reason why I think this is because it has elements of all the past res evils and my favourite part.. SURVIVAL HORROR. Bring it on capcom!
