5 stars "One word ; Anticipation...."

Nba 2k11 was the best basketball simulation ever made .
2k Studios is NOT pleased yet though . They plan to , this year , blow their competition out of the water with Nba 2k12 , and I am 100 % sure that this will be the case . Looking at the gameplay demo at E3 , everything looks amazing : the player's emotions , the presentation , the gameplay . And with the return of Michael Jordan to Nba 2k12 , as well as two of the greatest NBA Hall of Famers of all time: Larry Bird and Magic Johnson , this will surely draw plenty of interest to this product , which is why I have pre ordered it .
I'm sure that on October 8 you will look back at Nba 2k11 and say “Wow , wasn't that a great game” and now , upon the arrival of Nba 2k12 to stores , you will say “THIS . IS . WHAT . I . HAVE . BEEN . WAITING . FOR . The greatest game of all time”

4 stars "Very testing - but rewarding."

Having played the last 3 NBA 2k versions (10, 11 and 12) I thought I Should give my review. Now im a “my Player” player, so no review of the online stuff from me.

Most fun game play – easily 2k11, but can quickly become too easy. Im no Jordan but averaged 40 points and 10 assists in my second PG season. So roll on 2k12…

2k12 is to say the least is a challenge. The “my player” part of the games is massively improved, making for a more enjoyable RPG type feel – you actually get payed now.

With the newest update (you must update!) the rosters are fixed with rookies and trades etc… Remember there was a lockout in real life when the game launched so update.

Many game play faults are now fixed with the updates, but game play is still very challenging – not for the faint hearted. This is a game that will make you scream in frustration at a bad pass, or poor shot. Then celebrate that perfect move to score or when you defend a stars attempt to make you look foolish.

In short – this is a really tuff game, you will need to work hard at it to succeed – life is trully hard in the NBA this year. You will have to earn every point – stick at it.

The presentation is amazing just go to you tube to see many vids.

Quick “My Player” hints…

Take 3pt specialist guard. Gives you Med and 3pt shot 80s. Dunks are of no use to you. The paint is very difficult to score in.

Next max out Passing – this takes away the “cheat” of really really bad passes.

Respect the defense – they move quickly, look for the open shot.

5 stars "Dont know where to start...."

NBA2k12 looks to take things to the next level. 2k11 was amazing with the addition of Michael Jordan but 2k12 looks to continue adding legends like Larry Bird,Magic Johnson and Bill Russell.Visually the game is astounding as playing as MJs Bulls you feel like your watching an actual game from the 90s.The my player mode will be the most played and as you you sculpt your own players career, or one of the current NBA players in the new creating a legend mode. This game is filled with with so many other sick features. Ill be playing this for a long time.

5 stars "Nothing can compare to this!"

I've waited for it, now I can't stop playing it! Superb game, can't ask anything else from the people of 2k! Well done guys! More player interaction, and better gameplay, with lots of addition to My Player!

3 stars "Fun At Times"

Having skipped 2k11 I really enjoyed the My Player experience in 2k10. Sadly 2k12 has made the My Player frustrating with Poor CPU sliders which your teammates dribble too much and the team your playing will hit any shot with contact which is unrealistic. It's other modes are quite good but I bought this game for the My Player, which was quite sub par this year
