"A creative and enjoyable game to play"
Gears of War 2 comes jam-packed with thrilling action with it's exciting campaign and multiplayer modes. Multiple features make this game just that extra bit more interesting than other shooting games, e.g the gun with the bayonet attached. The few minor negatives about Gears of War 2 is that the new and innovative horde mode seems to be too repetitive and long to complete, which makes gamers bored. Another downturn is that the characters tend feel too heavy, and not as agile as they should be. Despite this, the gameplay is spectacular and will keep you enthrilled for hours. A must have for 360 gamers.
"Pretty good"
A great follow-up to the last one, brilliant plot, visuals and sound with solid action packed gameplay that holds up well. This being said; everything looks good on paper and I don't think this game is worth playing alone, there is no significant differences or inherent change in gamplay when playing co-op or multi-player, nut it seems to really miss something when there is nobody else around to enjoy it with you.
"Best Gears of War game ever...until Gears 3 arrivs"
Well what can I say- In this game, you get a breathtaking and exceptional singleplayer campaign (playing the first game is encouraged to help you understand the story) and an edge-of-your-seat multiplayer component which relies on skill as well as smart and sound judgements, added with a little teamwork. The only feature worth ignoring in Gears of War 2 is the Horde mode which I find boring as all you do is fight waves of Locusts. But for the campaign and online feature alone, this game is worth the admission fee.
