Description

Frontlines: Fuel of War is an open-world First Person Shooter set in the next great war. In a world ravaged by a global energy crisis, environmental decay, and economic depression, players assume the role of an elite soldier in the Western Coalition Army on an epic crusade against the Red Star Alliance to control the lifeblood of the world’s economy. Frontlines: Fuel of War combines intensely cinematic, non-linear game play, with next generation firepower and a revolutionary Frontline Combat System to deliver the most thrilling and engaging FPS to date.

Features:
  • Frontline Combat System - In both single player and multiplayer, players join the forces on the frontline that result in focused combat and increased intensity while allowing player choice.
  • Open World Environment - In both single player and multiplayer, players can create their own path to victory with non-linear mission objectives and destructible environments. The player chips away at the battle instead of standard die and redo system.
  • Next Generation Firepower - Over 60 next generation vehicles and weapons inspired by military designs of the near future. Including Jets, helicopters, tanks, APC’s and more.
  • Customizable Soldier System - Character customization allows you to represent your play style through character choices, weapon load out and role specialization.
  • Advanced Team Play - Supports up to 32 players on Console and 64 players on PC via LAN or Internet with shared targeting systems, squad based VOIP and more.

"Great game!"
This has a solid campaign and it takes some time to complete, the futuristic weapons you can play with are a lot of fun, in particular the remote access to the drones. A game real value lies with the Multiplayer mode, both online and system link. The maps are huge and give you plenty of space to fly aircrafts if you want..

"Worth A Look"
Just because you're not going to marry a girl and be with her for the rest of your life doesn't mean you won't date her for 6 months or so. And just because a game might not be an absolute ground breaking blockbuster that will have your socks rolling up and down doesn't mean it's not worth a pass through or two.

Frontlines is one of those games that's a bit 'samey' in gameplay and look, and not at polished as some others graphically (think: Battlefield Bad Company Lite) that would have your butt cheeks tightening at the thought of spending top dollar on, but at this price it's a good deal. If you don't own it and you're waiting on some of the bigger titles on their way, grab it to fill in some time.

It's not as immersive as some similar titles, but that can be a good thing; it moves along at a nice clip and you can just run and gun, ducking and reloading, and have a blast when you're in the mood for it.
