Description

On the pitch, critical gameplay fundamentals have been enhanced to ensure that FIFA 10 mirrors real-world football, providing more sophisticated ball control, and physical interaction between players. In addition, players now move, behave and position themselves more realistically. On attack, players analyze space more effectively, curve their runs in an attempt to stay onside, create passing lanes naturally, and drive for more variety in attacking options. On defense, new concepts like position priority enable defenders to multitask so dangerous spaces left open by teammates out of position are covered. Plus, slide tackle targeting, press marking, and better-urgency clearance logic provide new options that make defending a tactical skill in FIFA 10. In goal, a myriad of improvements and refinements to goalkeeper intelligence result in a more responsive and powerful rushing system and ultra-realistic saves.

Three new innovations revealed today have been developed to change the player control experience in FIFA 10. The first-ever true 360° dribbling system gives players finer control of the ball, enabling them to find spaces between defenders that previously were not possible. Using an all-new animation technology, skilled dribblers now have the ability to face the defender and use highly responsive lateral dribbling to skip past him. An innovative concept called Freedom in Physical Play enables players to perform wider dribble touches and new collision sharing creates a varied, less predictable, and extended fight for possession between the dribbler and a defender.

FIFA 10 also features a deeper iteration of the ever-popular Manager Mode with more than 50 major improvements, including new match realism, realistic player transfers based on multiple decision points, and true-to-life player growth curves.

"Demo!!"
I just downloaded the demo and can confirm that it is absolutely awesome. The graphics are slightly better than Fifa 09. The realism is unbelieveable , I was unsure at times whether I was actually playing a game or at a live game. This is thanks to the new 360 degree dribbling, which allows more responsive and free flowing gameplay. EA have gone the extra mile and just added in so many little details it's hard to mention them all. I would rate this game 9.5/10 :D

"PES Beater"
I have owned every single FIFA game and FIFA 10 is shaping up to be the best sports game ever. I thought FIFA 09 was as realistic as possible, but EA have announced that they will be add more movements to the already huge variety possible. I truly believe that this will blow PES 2010 out of the water. The improved Manager Mode makes it feel more authentic and makes it feel that your really managing a footballl team :D

"The Beautiful Game"
FIFA 10 is looking to be yet another step forward by EA Sports in this legendary franchise. The main improvement from my point of view is the new 360 degree plain of movement, as opposed to the current 8-plain field of movement. With a new improved manager mode, intuitive dribbling dynamic (skills moves) new shooting realism and physical play components this will surely be the best FIFA yet. PES 2009 was poor, and the 2010 version will have a lot of catching up to do to beat this edition of FIFA. I for one cannot wait until 2nd October 2009! Bring on release!

"The Beautiful game but...."
Well I always prefered Pro Evolution to Fifa but this year things have changed. The reason i prefered Pro Evo was because gameplay wise it was just better.Okay it didn't have all the licenses but the football was excellent and thats where it had it over Fifa. This year Fifa have well and truly caught up and have over taken Pro Evo and they have a done a fine job of it.The presentation is slick as you would expect, new game modes are good and the main thing the football is excellent.

The good:
Great gameplay
Great graphics and graphical touches.
You can score awesome goals
Crossing of the ball is really good
Scoring headers does give that "wow" factor
Skill moves are cool
Manager mode is good
World Class isn't impossible to win at
Addictive
Looks great and plays so smoothly
Goal keepers have improved greatly
Feels like you are there when playing
Setting up competitions with friends is easy
Commentary as you can't get past Martin Tyler and Andy Gray.
The best Fifa yet

The bad:
Referees do get in the way of passes abit to often
Fouls that are give against you is so annoying and when you play it you will see
Fouls for you sometimes wonder well that was a foul why wasn't it given?
Goal keepers as good as they are could be a better
Snow covered grounds can be tricky as you cannot see the lines clearly when the ball is out or your winger is racing down the touch line.In real life games the snow has been cleared so you can see the lines
Commentary is largely inaccurate.
The music is a terrible as ever.

"Hands down best soccer game ever"
This game take off where 09 left off they have improved the game engine and overall game play. the extra edition of manager mode and a few others make this the best soccer game I have ever owned or played so simple to get updated team rosters and team kits. I would highly recommend this game to any soccer fan out there and am very keen to see how EA will improve on this for Fifa 11 when it is finally released.
