5 stars "Pure Brilliance!"

This game has brilliant graphics and gameplay modes!
Tones of races and cars! This is an extremely enjoyable game. Even it is not only rally car racing there is still hours gameplay.. (even though it doesn't state that it is rally only, it is just cars that race on dirt).
You got love the mud splatter to! Thoroughly enjoyed this!
I recommend all play!

5 stars "beautifully presented, great driving mechanism. "

Without doubt the best looking racer out there. The driving mechanics are brilliant, much less floaty than the previous version, now you really feel like you're in a heavy car and the crashes hurt. With a force feedback wheel this game comes alive as it tries to wrench the wheel from your hands every time you hit a rock.
Some people will no doubt miss the more purist rallying, but that's not to say it's not there, there's just a lot of other disciplines thrown in to the mix as well.
Great game that I expect to be playing for a long time to come, especially with it's excellent online options.

4 stars "Pretty good"

A great racing game, the trucks and buggy racing most of the attention.

3 stars "Good game, but there are not alot of things you can do except ra"

If you want a game where you can do your cars up then this is not for you but if you just like getting in and racing then you will probably like this.

1 stars "Colin would be ashamed"

Have had a play of this, and was sorely disappointed. I was a big fan of DiRT; it was enough of an arcade racer to pick up and play comfortably but didn't stray too far from it's WRC roots. The same does NOT apply for this bastardisation of the genre. Colin's name should not be attached to this ‘Made for the USA’ junk. Worst part of it is the new corner grading being limited to Easy/Medium/Hard. Am so gutted it turned out this way, and hope another developer fills the gap left by this series.
On the other hand, if you into the over-the-top kind of racing found in things like NFS Underground or the Burnout series then this might be your cup of tea.

2 stars "Where Is The Rally?"

I was about 5 min away from pre ordering Dirt 2 until i looked at the game modes. Well, if you enjoy a good offroad simulation game this definately isnt for you. It has a very small amount of cars and very little tracks, but very impressive graphics. All in all this game seems very American and will destroy the colin Mcrae game Franchise however if your not a big fan of rallying and just enjoy racing stuff offroad then it is worth the $99. On the other hand if you have loved all of the other Colin Mcrae Rally games you will be severly dissapointed if you buy this
