Colin McRae: DIRT (Classics) reviews

This is the best rally game i've ever played. I bought SEGA Rally and that was total rubbish so i took it back and i thought colin mcrae looks good so i got it and played it for 5–6 hours straight. It is awesome. From rally to truck racing its awesome. You can race trucks, utes, rally cars e.g subaru,evo etc, there are 2wd races and 4wd races and buggy races its soooooo good. i reccomend you to spend your money and go out and buy this game it is fantastic no problems at all. 10/10

Colin McRae DIRT Brings a new taste of gaming, so much so i found myself fighting to get the control pad off my partner!
Unlike some games where from time to time the gaming gets thin, and things reoccur more often than not, Colin McRae sets itself apart from the rest. The AI levels seem to be set at just the right pace, and its noticeable upon changing the settings up a step unlike some others where the settings go from ultra easy to uber hard all in one easy step. Control pad response times where equally as good and your not left fighting with the control pad to get around that elusive corner. Theres a great selection of vehicles including the all time favourites of the Mitsi Evo and Subbie WRX and liverys which are obtained by working yourself up in the food chain which gives your car that different look that your after
Game play is excellent, its the sorta game youd find yourself slipping in one last race well your waiting for your partner to get ready and in a timely fashion not one that will set on the self only to be forgotten when taking interest in newer games.
It furthered my excitement of the Colin McRae Series and i look forward to the release of more excellent well rounded games to follow

This series has gone from strength to strength and this is no exception. Colin McRae Dirt is by far the best Driving Simulator available. The graphics are smooth and realistic, the introduction of optional decals and colours for each Vehicle is cool and being able to drive freightliners, dune buggies, 4WD's and classic Rally cars really adds to the overall rating. There are a few classics missing like the Subaru Legacy RS that Possum Borne drove and The Toyoya Corolla used in the late 90's but apart from that this game is A+ you won't find a better rally game until the next installment is released if there is to be one.

Easily the best racing game out so far. I have tried every 360 and nearly all PS3 racing games but this one is the best. No other racing game matches it on graphics, detail and realism.

Nice rally game however the online racing is limited and is very limited. Otherwise, great game.

This game is awesome, So realistic. One to add to the collection. The rally in this game is fast, adrenaline stuff. Trees whizzing by. Just a good game

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a retail version of Dirt. And I have to admit, It's as good if not better than your expectations.

This game is sure to set a new benchmark for offroad racing games. The graphics are amazing, the sound is top notch, and the handling physics are nothing short of spectacular!

After my short time with it, i'll give it an 8.5/10 but once I get my own copy and put some serious time into it i am sure that score will creep over the 9.0/10 mark!

Buy it! It's well worth it!
