Diggs Nightcrawler is a bookworm private detective in Library City.
He is framed for the murder of his best friend and boss, Humpty Dumpty, by a shadowy figure who Diggs pursues across the sections of Library City – from the Nursery Rhymes, through the Adventure section to Horrorland, meeting classic characters on the way. His journey is arduous and he frequently gets into trouble that only his loyal sidekick – YOU – can resolve.
Staying one step ahead of the law on his tail, he discovers there is more to the mystery than Humpty's ‘accident’ – someone has been stealing pages from other character's stories.
What will be the fate of Library City? And will Diggs discover the villain behind the mystery, or fall victim to his evil machinations?
