Like the rest of their race, the Elves of Athel Loren are intrinsically magical beings though, unlike their kin, the Wood Elves draw their magical power through the forest itself. This affinity with nature gives the Spellweavers access to the Lore of Athel Loren, a spell list that relies on illusions and trickery to confuse and scatter their foes. With the Lore of Athel Loren at their finger-tips, it is not unheard of for a Spellweaver to move entire forests, heal nearby warriors and transport whole regiments into an other-worldly existence where they can no-longer be harmed by mortal weapons. For these reasons, Wood Elf mages are rightly feared by all.
