I enjoyed this series more than the first and hope they continue to make more .After viewing the Swedish series with subtitles I would love to see all these done by the BBC.

Almost as good as the books! Very gripping stories following the career of Kurt Wallander, a brilliant detective who battles his own personal demons while fighting crime. The series is adapted from the books by Henning Mankell, a Swedish author and the series is filmed in the beautiful Swedish village of Ystad. The scenery is beautiful, particularly the countryside. Thoroughly enjoyable.
This has to be one of the best acted tv crime series out there. The atmospheric, haunting locations and treatment of the stories are also quite unique. A really great buy for us!
