This is classic western at its best. Perhaps, by today's standards, the action is a little dated. But that does absolutely nothing to lessen its appeal. A with a true cast of greats, it will never be equaled. I do not know what the remake will be like, but – no matter how good it may be -there will only ever be one true ‘The Magnificent Seven’.

One of the best western movies ever made in my opinion . Sad to note that Most of the actors have passed away now. A classic story of fighting against injustice and against the bullies of the world. While the action is mediocre in today's terms, the humour is great and the characters are larger than life. A must watch for cowboy buffs!

This is one of my earliest memories of watching a western, I have always loved the film and the cast. Not sure if I'm looking forward to the remake. The this film I really enjoyed, the characters and the story.
