The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxed Set (3 Books) reviews

Going to talk about the product itself instead of the story. Arrived in pristine condition. The Box is sturdy, think cardboard and holds the books tightly inside. The books are amazing, the dust jackets are beautiful and words and pictures are raised and it makes it look quite expensive. I was surprised all the books I received were 1st Edition, you might not care but that's a great extra. Underneath the dust jacket is even better, comes with the bird on the dust jacket etched into the hardcover itself. Makes it look amazing! Overall I was very impressed with the quality of the books and box. And it is a great price for all 3 in hardback!

This is one of the best and most engaging trilogys, or even books, I have ever read. Suzanne Collins completely captures the imagination of the reader, transporting you to a futuristic America. Brilliant descriptions, no violence spared, and such human feelings make these books that are not to be missed. Buy the boxed set so you can have all three!!! And keep em nice and tidy :P Strongly recommended for teen readers who want an amazing story.

Awesome well written series! I read the 2nd book in a day, I just couldn't put it down! Bit sad when I finished the last one......didn't want it to be over :(

One of the best and most captivating book trilogys, I have ever read. Suzanne Collins completely captures the mind of the reader, your imagination taken to an America rising from the ashes of chaos… Now split into 13 districts… Run by the Capitol. The Hunger Games ensure the disticts stay in line. A boy & girl thrown into a fight to the death… Why- to shown the control over the people of Panem. They rose up once, surely they won't do it again… A trilogy that's a must read!

Couldnt put them down once I started

Got these for our 12yr old and she literally could put them down plus they have done the rounds of the rest of the family with equal enthusiasm.

This series is compared to a series of books it is nothing like(twilight). often given the impression that it is ‘a girlie love triangle’ and that is all, but it is so much more than that. It doesn't focus on a ‘love triangle’ but rather a More Violent futuristic setting of america. Its an underdog story of one girls rise to Fame & power and her battle to overcome adversity over the totalitarian government of the Capitol.

Got it for the gf so I can play GW2 on release with out the hassle , she knows and cause the books are that good she is ok with that :)

I've had the chance to recently read all the books in this trilogy and really really really enjoyed each book just as much as each other book in the series. The stories are written wonderfully and I simply just enjoyed them.

Really easy to get into, you'll read through the entire trilogy within days! Another great series by Suzanne Collins.
