The title doesn't make this sound the best, but don't overlook it because of that! The back of the DVD says something about her being a woman before her time, which is true. She is quite indepedent and not afraid to speak up, which wasn't a good thing from a woman in that time. There are quite a few sad bits as a few characters die, but overall it's a lovely story. The violence is quite realistic too so there are a few gross bits as well. I'm not sure how historically accurate it is, but I enjoyred it all the same.
