"There's hope for us all"

When I first read The Curative I was still at school and as a slightly wool covered teen i decided to start with a book I had never heard of, about a man i did not care for and a story i didn't think would hold my attention. How i was wrong!

A story about a man chained in a cell along side an ‘In-curable’ mute, he takes you on a journey through his memories before he was in Bedlam.

This tale of lost hope and love thrown in the deep end with one of London's worst places to be, Bedlam mental asylum, truely captivated me till the very end.

This is a ‘can't put down’ novel, a HUGE must read!! over n out ^-^

Description

This is the story of an inmate in Bedlam, the London mental asylum, in the early 19th century. Living in appalling conditions he still manages to be witty, urbane and seemingly sane. As the story unfolds we learn about life in the asylum, about his life before Bedlam and how he came to be there.
