Purchased on Mighty Ape

Shipment was fast and the book is just as lovely as I hope it to be. Just one matter with the packaging material tho.. It was wrapped in carton and could have been easily soaked if it rained. Overall, im very satisfied with the product and the service. 😊

Description

Ever since, readers have loved exploring the miniature world of the hedgerow and meeting the families that live there. Whatever the season, and whether they are by the sea, in the hills, or simply at home by the fire, there is always someone ready to lend a helping hand. Contains: Spring Story, Summer Story, Autumn Story, Winter Story, Poppy’s Babies, Sea Story, The High Hills, The Secret Staircase.

Author Biography:

Jill Barklem was born in Epping in 1951. After an accident when she was thirteen, Jill was unable to take part in PE or games at school and instead developed her talent for drawing and art. On leaving school, she studies illustration at St Martin’s in London. Jill is now a full-time illustrator, working on the expanding series of books about the mice of Brambly Hedge. She lives in Epping, Essex.
