The microphone in my headset is either faulty or this is a rubbish headset. I've used this solidly for a few sessions and I can say this is the worst headset I've ever owned. The main problem is the microphone. I had to “jimmy” up all the max settings to get it work and it sounds crackly and I constantly get complaints about the quality. I've tried multiple settings and still no luck. I have searched the net and it would seem this problem is common. Do not buy this headset if you like to talk to people.
The sound quality is ok. Seems typical for most budget headsets… Oh but wait this isn't budget… It has very little sense of surround sound (how is this a csgo product-) and it seems either left or right noise no between. It works fine for music and videos but lets be honest this is a gaming headset.
Comfort is good and it covers your ears and sits snugly. I wouldn't recommend this for any who has a larger head as it is tight on my small head. The stretchy bit works well to keep it on your head.
Needless to say I'm pretty gutted. My WOW headset was 5× better than this at a lesser price. Unfortunately it was ruined in the chch floods I waited weeks to get this and it's significantly worse MAINLY THE MICROPHONE. I've tried multiple fixes and it seems it's hardware related. I'm likely to try resell and get something else
