Created from the scan data of an original screen used helmet, the Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot helmet replica from eFX Collectibles is made to be as accurate to the one seen in the Death Star trench run of Star Wars – A New Hope.

Made from quality fibreglass, injection molded plastic and metal, this full scale replica features removable real leather ear cups, a display base with numbered plaque and a certificate of authenticity.

Backstory:
The original helmet was made from an APH-6B Vietnam era flight helmet used by the US Navy, circa 1969. This helmet included the dual visor cover. A ridge was also added over the top from front to back. The helmet was then cast in halves to make the master pattern and the X-Wing pilot helmets were then vacuum formed from these patterns. Upon assembly, a strip of ABS was added to hide the parting line of the two halves. The microphone is from a Racal Minilite headset, the same headset that Luke and Han wore when fighting TIE Fighters in their escape from the Death Star!
