the speakers are a bit scratchy, if you are planning on using it for music particularly, I would suggest to just save up and get an ihome or something around that price range for the better speakers.

"Great, Everything I wanted."
This Speaker Doc is a great replacement for your old alarm clock. The iPod doc works great and the buttons are simple to use. The clock LCD screen brightness is a little annoying, you have 3 settings these are “Off” “Bright” and “Very Bright” which means during the night you will have a VERY bright light that lights up your entire room. But when you have the brightness on “Off” you cannot read the time while its pitch black which is a large draw back for me. The speaker quality is good which makes up somewhat. A great buy if you want to replace your old alarm clock and also if you want to be able to use your iPod or iPhone to play music. However, if you want to read the time at night without a extremely bright light, you might want to think about it before buying.
