Havent played it yet but I still love it. Just need friends now haha lol
I had not seen the show before buying and playing the game. (I got hooked after though!)
Highlights: Best with more players. Worker placement/resource management with deal making. Adults only. Lots of replay value. Great tactical and strategic variation. Unique.
Don't worry about it being a licenced game, it is a very well designed board game.
2–4 Players with 2 expansions available that each add a player. The game suits more players, this forces some conflict as the board is only so big. It also leaves room for deals. Now a cool feature of this game is that you can make any deal for anything at any time with anyone. That may sound silly or off putting but it actually opens many tactical doors.
It is in essence a worker placement and resource management game. However all the resources can be bought/sold/traded for one another so there is plenty of room to play the game in different ways.
Replayability. It's something that matters deeply in games. This will be different every time. Each game 6, from 20, random tiles are used. There is also a deck of 40 events and temporary locations, you use a fraction of that in each game. Meaning lots of different combinations can occur.
The themes in the game are very much for adults so not for kids!
This game has made me put 3 other games in my collection up for sale. It does everything they do and does it better. Those games will never see the table as long as this game is around.
In Sons of Anarchy: Men of Mayhem players control rival gangs, competing to be the most successful outlaw club. Each turn players choose what Sites of interest to fight for and what territories to yield. Negotiate, threaten and ally with rival gangs when it serves your needs but be wary of the inevitable knife in the back. The gang with the most cash at the end wins.
