This thing is a little gem, although I wont recommended it for heavy duty usage because of it's small electric motor, it is however, powerful enough to make yummy smoothies and shakes provided you chop your pieces to a small size.
The unit is compact enough to fit in my back-pack or spare luggage space so I can take it along with me during business trips away from home whilst staying in hotels/motels.
Being the size it is and the materials used, the plastic housing which protects the motor doesn't do much for noise suppression, and there's only one speed so I would suggest that you not run the motor longer for more than 15–20 seconds maximum at each time, 5 to 10 second bursts should do fine to mulch what ever you put in it.
