Extremely comfortable, I can play a solid 12 hour marathon and not be sore at all afterwards or even aware that i have headphones on.
It is not without flaws.
The microphone is a bit flimsy and so are the bits that allow the headphone cup to rotate to fit your head, mine are not broken yet but I feel it'll be the first bit to go.
Still highly rated for the price.
Can't fault them. Comfy , effective and not terribly pricey
It's not hi-fi but it's good for the price. Hugs your ears. My favourite thing about it is that I have my TrackIR reflector attached to the top. The headset is very overpackaged new, but that packaging includes three plastic ties that are perfect for tying the TrackIR to it.
The Razer Tiamat 2.2 is a great headset. The microphone has great quality, and the sound quality of the headphone drivers are fantastic. The earcups are extremely comfortable, nice and thickly padded with leather. However, despite how comfortable they are at first, I find that after long periods of usage the headband causes it to squeeze tighter than it should, and my ears are a bit sore by the end of it. Also on my headset I found that the left speaker has a very annoying rattle at low frequencies, which was rather disappointing. Aside from these two issues with the build, however, the headset is fantastic and the product is a good buy.
The mic is extremely quiet and people cant hear me when I am trying to play games, a piece of plastic that is supposed to be attached to the side of the mic fell off as soon as I took it out of the box and also the mic feels really flimsy and moves around when it shouldn't be moving.
