Description

The Razer Mamba features gaming grade wireless technology with a hybrid system that enables instant wired/wireless functionality. Coupled with an industry leading 1ms polling rate, it is the fastest performing mouse both on and off the cord. Delivering true wireless freedom, lag-free speed and ergonomic comfort, the Razer Mamba is in a league of its own.

How Does the Razer Mamba Work?

With both wired and wireless communication speeds clocking in at 1ms, the Razer Mamba’s exclusive 2.4 GHz wireless technology makes it the fastest mouse both on and off the cord. Combine that with Razer’s smart wireless channel scanning, and you get the freedom of wireless with the speed and security of a wired connection; nothing compromised.

Gaming Grade Wireless Technology

Latency is the amount of time it takes to move data across a wireless connection. The Razer Mamba now allows gamers to achieve near instant response time wirelessly. Being able to be polled at 1ms intervals makes the Razer Mamba’s wireless performance equal to that of the fastest wired mice. Compared to other wireless mice capable of 2ms or 8ms, the Razer Mamba is in a league on its own.

The Razer Mamba, being polled at 1ms, minimizes the time at which data is sent to the PC substantially. This means your command gets executed first if you and your opponent react at the same time. The minimized delay is the difference between the quick and the dead.
Gaming-Grade Wireless Technology

The Razer Mamba gaming grade wireless technology is engineered to free you from the reins while achieving the highest gaming standards. Its ability to be polled at an interval of 1ms maximizes the frequency at with data is sent to the PC. This also means your command gets executed first even if you and your opponent react at the same time.
Dual Mode Wired/Wireless Functionality

The Razer Mamba’s dual mode wired/wireless functionality allows you to switch between the wireless freedom and the frenzy of wired play, with zero downtime for charging. By connecting the Razer Mamba™ via its USB cable, it converts into a wired mouse – the gamer is then freed from battery life concerns as the battery is also charged while in wired mode.
Razer Synapse™ Onboard Memory

With its upgraded Razer Synapse™ onboard memory, the Razer Mamba enables you to store more profiles and longer macro strings on your mouse without the need for software. You can now take your custom mouse settings to any tournament or LAN party, without the hassle of any software.
Charging Dock

Included with the Razer Mamba™ is its charging dock which also acts as the wireless receiver unit.

4 stars "Great wired and wireless mouse"

I've been using this mouse for the last year and I must say the high asking price was worth it. The moment I held it in my hand it just felt right. The rubber finish gives superior grip and the buttons only require the slightest pressure to activate. Even after prolonged use your hand remains relaxed and comfortable.

One of the great features is that it is a true wired or wireless mouse, meaning in wired mode, you actually connect it to the computer via a mini USB and it behaves exactly like a wired mouse. In wireless mode there is absolutely NO LAG. Lot's of sensitivities to choose from and it has a robust software.

Works with Win 7, so no worries with compatability. It also has a good battery life, but not as long as others due to having 2× lasers to bring it up to 5600dpi.

Only downside is the high price. But it's worth it. Go on, if you want the best, this is it.

Oh, and did I mention it looks damn sexy?

2 stars "Disappointing but not bad"

The mouse has a great feel, well shaped and light. The wireless mode usually works but i have had some problems with it. The firmware and software are absolute rubbish and i am getting used to constant unresponsiveness and driver failures. The grip on the sides is now falling off leaving glue all over the mouse and generally getting in the way.

I expected better for something so expensive.

4 stars "Freakin' Awesome"

Had some extra cash after work over summer and my little brother broke my deathadder so i figured i could upgrade. It is amazing, i love that i can just plug it in whenever it runs out or use it wireless. there is also a setting that allows you to fast switch the dpi setting which is very useful.

Downside is definately the price but if you can afford it you will enjoy it.

5 stars "Well worth the money!"

Yes this thing is very pricey, but it is well worth it, the quality of the build is good, the only downside is the battery doesn't last as long as I would have hoped, but it doesn't cause a problem at all, cause you can just plug it in and keep going! I would recommend this to any gamer who needs a new mouse!

5 stars "The perfect gaming mouse"

The Razer Mamba is an amazing mouse. The laser picks up on every surface I have tried. Nice handy surface calibration settings allow usage on almost anything. The dpi of up to 6400 is great for everything with nice easy on-the-fly sensitivity changing.

Nice easy charging with the cable or dock. Whether your owning up on Call Of Duty or just surfing the web if the mouse runs low just plug in the cable and continue on with no change in the feeling of the mouse. The battery life is long enough for me to use it for gaming all day without dying. There is no noticeable change in the response time between wired and wireless

The mouse itself feels great in your hand. Its a right handed mouse but it still works well in the left hand almost as well as in the right hand. The buttons respond to the lightest touch
Can't forget about the amazing looks as well. The lighting on the mouse and the stand is a nice touch.

This is my second gaming mouse and moving from a Razer Krait to the Mamba is a massive jump.
No complaints about this mouse, a great buy,

Overall I give it 5/5

If you have the money and want the best, go for Razer, go for the Mamba
