Samuel is a nurse's aide, studying for his final nursing exams and leading a quiet kind of life. Blissfully happy in his marriage and with a baby on the way, Samuel's life is pleasantly mapped out. But one night, he saves the life of a mysterious car-accident victim, who he later discovers is a violent criminal, Hugo Sartet. Next thing he knows, Samuel is knocked unconscious in his own home, and comes to to discover his wife has been kidnapped. The men responsible give him only one mission: do Sartet’s bidding if he ever wants to see his wife alive again. Samuel quickly finds himself drawn into a web of lies, violence and corruption which threaten to blow his happy life to hell…
