Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance features the same ground breaking stealth-based action of its predecessor, with players guiding a series of characters through key terrorist situations. The new game includes five new 'Snake Tales' that complement the main objectives, with Solid Snake despatched on a series of stand alone missions.
Supplementing the twisting plot and new Snake Tales are over 200 new VR missions. Acting as tests of skill, these remove the game's central heroes from the front line and place them in a series of fiendish virtual reality environments where logic and reality can be altered to create the ultimate tests of endurance.
These missions have allowed Kojima-san and his team to further extend the stunning realism of the Metal Gear franchise's graphics, with huge guards, target ranges and seemingly insurmountable odds pushing the player's abilities to the very limit.

"One Of A Kind"
Coming from a line of some of the best games ever, MGS 2: Substance lives up to all expectations. Having cutting edge graphics for its time, the game is both captivating and fun and never ceases to entertain. The unique and outstanding gameplay outclasses other titles such as Splinter Cell and Syphon Filter, creating one of the best experiences on PS2

"EXCELLENT GAME"
Really cool because it has good gameplay and graphics.When playing this game you get to play as two characters Solid Snake and Raiden.You also get cool weapons and items and has really cool fighting action too.Metal Gear Solid 2 is very fun to play and is all round a very good game.

"Still a top of the range game."
This game is immensly satisfying, the gameplay and graphic detail for a ps2 game are seriously up there with any ps3 game, and the storyline is nothing short of amazing aswell. I highly reccomend this game – 10/10

"Buy this game before it dissapears again!"
I spent so long raiding Video Store clearances trying to find this game, and was so stoked when MightyApe re-released it for sale. If you already own MGS2:Sons of Liberty then I can assure you this is still worth buying! With Snakes side-missions and hilarious VR missions this game is a must for any MGS fan.

"Great Game and Hard to find"
I have been looking for this game for a while and couldn't believe my luck when I saw Mighty Ape had it – and for such a bargain! I had to get it! Very happy with it, an awesome game and I love the Skateboarding bonus. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of the Metal Gear Solid series!
