Although there appear to be some issues when playing certain older Ps1 games & using 3+ of the multitap's controller ports, it works brilliantly with all of the Ps2 games & multi-player games we have.
I was worried about the fact that our Play Station is a Japanese one, but we haven't encountered any problems when using this item.
Would whole heartedly recommend this product to anyone who wants to play with more than 2 people & not have to share a controller.
