Disney Sing It High School Musical 3 includes 2 Microphones

Grab the microphones, turn up the volume and sing your heart out. Tone deaf or absolute superstar this games is a great addition to any Karaoke collection. Although I am a proud fan of the SingStar franchise, when I first heard of Disney: Sing It, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. When the sequel – Disney: Sing It High School Musical 3 arrived just in time to accompany the film my head spun. Being a fan of the Disney Channel films, I found that this would be a great asset to my collection.

Basically the title is self explanatory, this karaoke game has nothing but High School Musical songs. To top it off this time they have actual clips from the musical numbers rather than animated versions as seen in the predecessor High School Musical Sing It. The interface was easy to use, but the selection of a song gets a little irritating to master the controls. When you sing, its absolutely fun, just like every other karaoke game where you need to reach the right pitch to attain points.

But, with the classy design and changeable skins, there are a few let downs. The Team Battle mode doesn't allow the random selection of songs as seen in the SingStar franchise, having random songs would make the game more entertaining especially when you have shuffle tokens and get a song that won't let you down. This isn't the case with Disney Sing It High School Musical 3. You simply random the mode of play – duet or versus and then select a song of your choice. I tend to let a person who isn't singing select a song of their choice.

The point system can be rather annoying with the multiplying. Simply getting the majority of the notes is what you aim for, but if you miss one in 4× you'll end up back at no multiple while if you are on 3× you can easily breeze through someone who just lost their 4×. It gets rather annoying and frustrating.

The song selection has all time favourites from the High School Musical franchise, but what was really missing were most of the musical numbers, what happen to ‘What I've Been Looking For?’ and ‘Bet On It’ that made its way simply onto Disney Sing It. There was also little of HSM3 songs, which was quite weird considering this was HSM3 intended. I've seen the films and wouldn't singing the Zac Efron – Troy Bolton solo Scream be so much fun?

Overall this game has entertained me, but with some changes the Disney Sing It franchise can become one of the best karaoke games in the market. This games is a huge recommended for that of the karaoke fan with the catchy musical numbers, but only if you really enjoy the HSM franchise.

After watching my niece using my daughter's Singstar this weekend I decided that this would be the perfect gift for her. Fantastic price at Mighty Ape has meant I haven't spent the full budget for her gift, and so I can buy another Singstar game as well!

My daughter was absolutely delighted to get this off Santa at Christmas. Although she is only 4, she is already getting the hang of the songs. Great
