PilotWings Resort reviews

PilotWings Resort continues the typical Nintendo feel of it's recent Mii mascot games. Bright colourful graphics, cheery sound effects and music and simple but addictive gameplay. Basically, you pilot a plane, handglider or jetpack around an island, collecting items or navigating courses. There are a reasonable amount of challenges and the difficulty ranges from easy to hard depending on your motivation to achieve perfect scores. The use of 3D is simple, but very compelling. It makes judging distances in the air much easier and overall just feels less sterile than looking at a flat 2D image, however 2D is still perfectly playable if you prefer. It's a great launch title, but can't help hoping there will be bigger and better examples coming in future. Still a must buy if you have a 3DS.
