I watched this movie at a friends 11th birthday party in the mid 80s. It was the first spooky type movie I ever watched. I actually thought it was true (although I know that sounds ridiculous, if you are familiar with the story) – but I did believe it to be a true event that took place in the Australian outback. It's ‘girly’ and sweetly portrayed, I enjoyed the girls being innocent – a pleasant change from today's movie youth portrayed as being aggressive and sexually ‘wise’. It's a G rated movie, PG rated because of the disappearance that takes place. Overall, it's refreshingly sweet :)
